𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐨-𝐩𝐢𝐠𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧?⠀

It all depends on each individual. That being said, generally plan to have a touch-up about every year. Dermopigmentation is an art and not an exact science and we cannot accurately predict how your body will "preserve" (or retain) the pigment. Each case is unique, however, we can reasonably predict or anticipate⠀

𝐈𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐮𝐥?⠀

No! ⠀⠀
We make about 3 passages with our stylus (microblade). ⠀⠀
The first passage is not painful, but rather "unpleasant". Thereafter, we apply (from the 2nd pass) a topical local anesthetic and you will no longer feel anything!⠀⠀
All my clients confirm that this is not comparable to the experience of a tattoo! ⠀⠀
⠀ ⠀
It is possible that, unfortunately, some clients who have tried this procedure in the past (with another artist) may have reported having pain. Usually, in these cases, it is because the artist has deposited the pigment too deeply into the skin!⠀⠀
The new techniques propose instead to practice this aesthetic art on the surface of the dermis WITHOUT scarifying the skin!⠀
It is NOT normal to be in pain!⠀⠀
